Creating a Swim Connection Account

Use this procedure if you have mailed in your USA Swimming registration and need to create an account to enter swim meets or to just use the site for information.  If you need to register with USA Swimming for the first time, use the procedure in the next section.

You will need to create a free account and make profiles for each of your swimmers:

1. Click on the "Swim Connection Log-in" link in the right-hand column of this page.
2. Click on "Sign Up" in the "Why Join?" box on the right,
3. Follow the prompts to register.  Use CRA as the team affiliation.
4. Create profiles for each of your swimmers by logging in and clicking on "Add Swimmer to Profile" in the "My Account" area on the left.  You will need your Registration Number.
5. When you are done you may exit, or proceed with the necessary actions below.

USA Swimming Annual or Seasonal Registration

To register as a new member or renew your seasonal or annual registration:

1. Click on the "Swim Connection Log-in" link in the right-hand column of this page.
2. Sign in and proceed to step 3, or, if you are registering for the first time, create an account using steps 1-3 above. DO NOT complete step 4 above as this will be completed when you register your swimmers for the first time.
3. Click "New/Renew Swimmer Registration" under "My Account" on the right.
4. If you are renewing and have already created profiles, you will see a screen that lists all of your swimmers. Click on the link in the "Actions" column of one of your swimmers and follow the procedure to complete either annual or seasonal registration. If you have more than one swimmer,
5. If you are registering a swimmer for the first time, click on "Register a Swimmer Not in My Profile" and follow the prompts.  If you have more than one swimmer, you can repeat this process for each before clicking on the link to complete your registration and pay.

Swim Meet Registration

To register for a swim meet:

1. Click on one of the "Enter Meets... " links in the right-hand column.  Be sure to pick the appropriate LSC for the meet.
2. This takes you to a list of meets which are currently available for online registration.  Click the meet for which you want to register.
3. Notice that a third bar has appeared near the top of the page, just below the LSC menu bar and the MEMBER menu bar.  This is the MEET menu, and contains links to information for the specific meet you have chosen. 
4. It's a good idea to link to and print the Meet Sheet before continuing.  It contains details about the meet including location, dates and times, and event order.
5. Once you have the Meet Sheet, you can click on either "Online Registration" in the "Meet" menu bar, or, if you have returned to the meet "Home" page, you can click on "online meet entry" on the orange button.
6. Click on "Swim Connection Member" and Log-In.  If you are signing up for a Pacific meet, be sure to change the LSC to SN-Sierra Nevada, or the system will not recognize your username.
7. You will see a list of the registered swimmers for whom you have created profiles.  Click "Enter" next to a swimmer you want to enter into the meet and follow the directions to enter events.  Click "SAVE" at the bottom of the page.
8. Repeat this process for each swimmer you wish to enter into the meet, then click "entries done: go to step 3," in the green button on the top right, and follow the directions to pay.
9. You will receive a confirmation e-mail showing your payment and a list of entered events for each swimmer.

Viewing Meet Results

If you have chosen to do so, you will recieve each swimmer's individual meet results via e-mail once a meet is complete. To sign-up for e-mail results:

1. Log on to Swim Connection using the link above.
2. Chose "Edit Account Profile" in the "My Account" menu on the left.
3. Click the "Edit" button next to "Communications."
4. Check the appropriate box, and click "Update."

To view results for all events and swimmers in a given meet:

1. Click on the appropriate "Meet Results..." link in the right hand column of this page.
2. Choose the meet for which you wish to see results.
3. Select "All" under the "Team" option, or to see CRA results only, choose "SN-CRA."  You will be directed to Log-in.  Follow the link to Log-in and navigate back to Meet Results and the specific meet you want.  Then choose "SN-CRA" again and you will see only CRA results.
