Nolan Rogers - Head Coach
Nolan began his coaching career volunteering for the
Cabrillo Threshers, focusing on developmental swimming and technique with the
juniors and pre-seniors. He then assistant coached for Elk Grove High School
and the Elk Grove Piranhas. He later went on to become an assistant coach for
Cosumnes River Aquatics.
Nolan started swimming competitively when he was nine
years old for the Elk Grove Piranhas, then swam for Cosumnes River Aquatics and
Arden Hills Swimming. He swam for Elk Grove High School, competing in the 100
breast, 200 free, and 500 free, where he earned "most improved" and was voted as "team captain." He competed in college for UC Santa Cruz where he specialized
in the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM.
He is currently finishing up at The Art Institute of
California Sacramento, earning his BS degree in Graphic Design.

Coaches Code of Ethics
Coaches – I will:
· Make the best interests of the children in the program the priority in my heart and mind.
· Maintain the delicate state of balance between what is best for the individual (the swimmer) and the needs of the group (the team).
· Communicate honestly, openly, and in a mature manner and to be approachable and receptive to parents’ and swimmers’ reasonable concerns.
· Acknowledge my frailties, imperfections, and my humanity, and within those constraints, pledge to strive to be consistent and fair in my dealings with team members and to treat each swimmer according to his/her needs.
